a hard day

so distracted by my frustration + upset

it’s so understandable

it’s so much

seeing now, for the first time

what I didn’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t see

because it was too painful because it was too difficult, inconvenient, horrible…

and now I see it

there’s no going back.

there’s no shortcut through

the suffering, there’s no detour

the detour is what I’ve been on
